January Policy Enforcement:
Starting in January 2025, any personal device (cellphone, tablet, smartwatch, laptop, etc.) used on campus without permission will be confiscated immediately, without warning. Devices must be retrieved by parents/guardians after school.
Key Reminders for Families:
- Scholars may request to use the school office phone to contact home in case of emergencies. Parents/guardians can also reach their scholar by calling the school office directly.
- Middle schools in our area also enforce similar policies restricting the use of personal electronics, especially during instructional hours.
- No photos or recordings should ever be taken on campus without explicit school staff permission.
We appreciate your partnership in discussing these expectations with your scholar. Cellphones and smartwatches are privileges, and following these guidelines will ensure our school remains a safe and respectful space for everyone.
Food Delivery Services
No Food Service Delivery for Students
Students are not allowed to have Doordash, Postmates, Uber Eats, Grubhub or any other food service deliver food during school hours. It is unsafe and against school rules.

Independent Studies
We are excited to share important updates to our Independent Study programs for the 2024-2025 school year. Independent Study offers students a flexible, individualized learning option to meet their academic goals outside the traditional classroom.
Key changes include:
- No minimum days required for Short-Term Independent Study: Parents may now request Independent Study for absences as brief as a single day.
- Short-Term Independent Study for illness or leave (15 days or less): Families can request this option when students are out ill or need a brief leave, providing a more flexible way to maintain learning progress.
- Increased flexibility for absences of fewer than three days: Families can now request Independent Study for short-term absences, such as brief travel or minor medical needs, without the previous minimum duration restrictions.
- Signature requirements: New agreements will apply to both short- and long-term Independent Study options.
Independent Study remains a voluntary program designed to meet diverse student needs, from short-term travel to medical necessities. We are committed to providing every child a rigorous and supportive learning environment.
